Description

Mod A [Forge 1.8]

Mod A adds in over 100 different items. Those items are either The Dark Items, The Sandwich Items, or the special random items.

Dark Items

The Dark Items

The first item that you would want to obtain is The Dark Item, it is a combination of redstone dust and a coal and can be used as a fuel. After crafting for a while you will be able to obtain The Dark Ingot. The Dark Ingot can then be used to make a Dark Rod. You will then be able to make Dark Tools and Armour. Each of The Dark Tools have their own unique ability. The Dark Pickaxe will create an explosion when it is used. The Dark Sword will make the mobs it attack slower and weaker. The Dark Shovel has a 100% chance of dropping a flint when used on a gravel, it will even give the gravel as well. The Dark Hoe will create a farmable seed or food when it is used. The Dark Axe will give you an apple whenever you use it on leaves.
Once you have obtained and equipped the entire Dark Armour set you will be given a better resistance. You can also use The Dark Ingots, Blocks, and Rods to make The Dark Table. The Dark Table will consume a diamond and will create a random special item or if you are unlucky, a regular vanilla Minecraft item.

Sandwich Items

This mod also adds in simple sandwiches. But to make them a slice of bread is required, it can easily be made by just putting a bread. Cheese can also be made by putting a bucket of milk into the crafting table. You can then use cheese to make cheese slices. You can combine these ingredients to make simple sandwiches.

Encrypted Messages

There are three different encoded messages in this mod, the first is an encrypted message, the second is a password, and the last is a series of numbers. Send your deciphered translations of them and I will inform you if you are correct. If you are correct you can send your skin and I will add a scale model of you into the mod.

Contributor Book

When you join your world you will get a Contributor Book that lists all the people who helped contribute to the mod.

You can also be in the book by contributing. (E.g Suggesting improvements to the code, making .lang files, informing about bugs, etc.)

The Black Book: A guide to the Dark Table (Obtainable in Survival 1.4+)

The Black Book explains all the random special items that weren't explained in this post.

I wasn’t able to cover every single item in the mod so if you have a question about any item you can simply ask and I will answer as soon as possible.

This mod uses Forge and can be installed by placing it in the Mods folder in .minecraft.
