Aetherium Ashen Armor
This mod was created to add an armor set to Aetherworks, the mod for Embers Rekindled, that introduces Aetherium Gas. This is intended for use with Minecraft Forge 1.12.2.
The armor is crafted by putting a piece of the Embers Rekindled Ashen Cloak in a stamper base, supplying 750mb of Aetherium Gas (amount now configurable), and stamping with a bar stamp. It will produce an "Aetherium-Infused" version of the same piece. The infusion comes with enhanced armor and armor toughness and the "Aetheric II" enchantment, which allows the armor to repair itself when worn under the sky at night.
The new armor comes with a blue-twinkling animated item texture and fully colorized armor model based on the blue shade from Aetherworks. When exposed to the sky at night, the armor will slowly repair itself. You will know it is working properly when the armor produces blue particles. Inflictor Gems can still be applied to the Aetherium-Infused ashen cloak to allow reduced damage. The Aetherium-Infused Goggles provide the same overlay effects of the Ashen Goggles from Embers.
Armor Set and Stats
The armor stats are upgraded when infused with Aetherium Gas. In addition to the changes below, each piece of armor comes with 2 armor toughness.
Aetherium-Infused Goggles - 4 Armor
Aetherium-Infused Cloak - 8 Armor
Aetherium-Infused Leggings - 6 Armor
Aetherium-Infused Boots - 4 Armor
The Aetherworks Crown is now a bauble! It can be placed in the head slot, so you can wear it and still get the benefits of the Ashen Goggles! While in the Baubles slot, the crown does not provide any armor or armor toughness. This can be disabled in the config.
Note!
If you download this mod through the twitch client (and its requirement, Aetherworks) you might run into an issue where the twitch client downloads both Embers and Embers Rekindled. The game will not launch with them both installed, and I recommend you choose Embers Rekindled and disable regular Embers for this mod to work.
Thanks and Credits!
Huge thanks to BordListian for the support, and the Embers team for maintaining Embers Rekindled. Additional thanks to v0idwa1k3r for the Aetherworks mod. I do not not own their mods, and I must credit them for all the awesome code and images that I have referenced for the creation of this mod. Remember to tip your developers! Final thanks to CrazyOverlordGames for providing the animations for the items.
I give anyone permission to use this in a modpack. I just ask that you give me a heads up when you do so I can come see your work!
