Description

This mod implements a few utility items; think of it as a stepping stone vanilla+ mod. I use this mod for my own play group, and as such it tends to change drastically between versions, it only exists here because it's convenient, hence please always use the latest version as that is what this page will focus on.

Content

(small enough of a mod to fit the wiki here)

Saltpeter Ore

An ore that generates in large clumps of 10-15 at y-levels 5-55. Only generates below ocean/desert type biomes. Drops multiple Saltpeter's. It is about as common as Iron Ore.

Saltpeter

A powder item used in crafting recipes; can only be acquired by mining Saltpeter Ore.

Sandlamp (brick)

A aesthetic block that emits light, made from sand.

Mudbrick (wet/dry)

Wet mudbrick is made from dirt, and as such as the same properties. When placed in the world away from water, it will slowly dry (provided it isn't raining) into Dried MudbrickDried Mudbrick is hard like stone and doesn't "soften" when wet. Essentially provides an aesthetic building material from dirt.

Grafter

This is a tool that is used on Tall Grass. When right-clicked on, the grass has a 15% chance to drop either a Plant Fiber or Rice when it breaks.

Plant Fiber

This is a stepping stone item used to make string. It can only be acquired with the use of a Grafter.

Rice

Rice can be acquired through the use of the Grafter or by harvesting the Rice Crop. It is a seed and can be planted on a Paddy. It must be in water but have access to air above the water.

Paddy

These are used solely to grow Rice on. They are made from Clay and Dirt.

Cooked Rice

This is simply made by putting Rice in a Furnace. This is a food item

Onigiri

This is made from 9x Cooked Rice. It is a food item.

Sushi

This is a combination of Cooked Rice and Fish (for devs: Uses the fish tag). This is a food item.

Papery Sheet

This is a paper equivalent for rice. It is used to make vanilla paperWoven Tiles and Arrow Fletchings.

Woven Tile

An aesthetic building block with the properties of Wood made from Papery Sheets.

Arrow Fletching

This is made from Papery Sheets and can be combined with an Arrow Head to make vanilla Arrows

Arrow Head

Made from stone. With this, a Stick and an Arrow Fletching, vanilla Arrows can be made without Feathers or Flint.

Ryoba Saw

This is a tool used to "cut" blocks into other items or blocks. When right-clicking on a Woven Tile, cuts it into 12x Shoji Panels; if shift-right-clicking, yields Fine Shoji Panels instead. When used on Ice, yields 4x Snowballs.

Shoji Panel / Fine Shoji Panel

These are like Glass Panes in how they behave; however they drop when broken and have the same properties as cloth. They emit light and are not transparent. They are for aesthetic use and can only be gained through the use of the Ryoba Saw on a Woven Tile.

Spindle

These are used to make string from wool. When right-clicked on a block of wool, the Spindle breaks the wool and turns it into string. The spindle must be shift-right-clicked afterwards to drop the string.

Soul

When a player dies, they will drop this item. Currently its only use is to make Soul Sand.

Soul Sand

Soul Sand now has a chance to drop a Ghast Tear when broken (like Gravel and Flint).

Much of this mod's content is in crafting recipes. Please use NEI or similar to view these.

Note

 - Starting in version 2.3.3 (for MC 1.15.2) a config file has been added that allows for the enabling/disabling of world gen (of which there exists only two blocks as of 2.3.3).

 - Starting in version 2.3.4 (for MC 1.15.2) the rice crop has been fixed and is now compatible with Harvest Sprites and Straw Golem.

Usage
